COMMITMENT That's a word Big enough to scare anyone! Don't Fear, you don't have to.... JUST READ On .... Commitment? I can’t commit to anyone or anything, let alone God! – How do you or can anyone expect me to commit to the Holy God?! You’ve got to be kidding!! Commitment is tough. We fear commitment. What if we don't commit to Jesus as Lord? We Fear commitment to a woman, to a man, to a friend, to our child, to a job, to a culture, to a religion, to a way of life, to anything, to anyone.... We fear commitment because of the risk of failure. We fear: * We’re going be stuck with something a long time. * We’re going be stuck in something a long time. * We’re going to have to do things we don’t want to do. * We’re going to have to do things we can’t do. * We won't have any will power to keep our commitment. * We won't have any desire later on to keep our commitment. * We’ll break our commitment and then feel really bad about it. * We’ll break our commitment and have to suffer some horrible consequences because of it. And then we’ll feel even worse about ourselves,…
Commitment to God is TOTALLY different. Commitment to God is TOTALLY different. Our commitment to God is based upon God’s commitment HY to us. The only way we can Commit to God is by Surrendering to God.
Commitment to God has no risk of failure because God promises to see you through. Commitment to God has a 100% success rate in bringing you to God's Permanent Heaven Paradise. Commitment to God is different because God commits back to us.
In other words, IF we choose within our heart and mind to love and serve God with our personal life, THEN God commits to 1) keep us with Him forever and 2) to enable and equip us to be faithful to Him forever. 1- God commits to keep us as His own forever. God marks us with a seal, His Holy Spirit, guaranteeing us as God’s possession forever, God never lets us go, and we become God’s permanent child, because God is Faithful forever. God says: Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, Who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of His glory. Eph 1 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father, Who has given them to me, is greater than all ; no one can snatch them out of My Father's hand. 2- God enables and equips us to be faithful to Him forever. Referring to the Lord Jesus Christ, God says: Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 Jesus said, “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The Counselor, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:16-17, 26 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Ephesians 1:3-14 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:4-10 Jesus said, “Trust in God; trust also in Me. In My Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. Psalm 33:4 Do you think you have enough power to make a commitment to the Lord God Almighty, especially when you earnestly and desperately desire for this to be true: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matt 6:9-10 Trust that God has enough Power to have His Will be done for the two of you! God’s Will be done God’s Way and by God’s Power!!! Your thoughts? If the God of the Bible is like this, I can commit to the Lord God Almighty. How do I do this? God states, referring to the Lord Jesus Christ: Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. John 1:12-13 Will you do what God says? Will you receive Jesus Christ? Will you believe in His Name, which is His Character? Will you choose to become a child of God? If Yes, then God gives you the right to become His child – born of God. Yes, I want to receive Jesus Christ. I do believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I desperately want to be God’s child. Help me to ask God for this: Sinner’s prayer.
