Substitution

Why should I ask for my sins to be put on the cross of the Jesus Christ?

Because of Substitution and Imputation.

Substitution means that Jesus is the Substitute Punishment Taker for you

God must punish sin because God is holy and just. Justice must take place for every broken law of God. Your sins or offenses against God must be punished because that is Justice. So, Jesus takes the punishment for you instead of you taking your own punishment

Jesus is the perfect , blameless, sinless sacrifice for your wrongdoings. Jesus Christ is the only acceptable blood sacrifice for God. Jesus Christ was the perfect, unblemished lamb(1), sinless atonement (2), kinsman redeemer(3), and Friend (4) Who took your punishment in your place so you don’t ever have to.

So when you ask God to put all of your sins on the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are accepting the fact:

- Jesus is taking your punishment for you and instead of you getting what you deserve (Grace, Mercy).

- Jesus is taking your sins upon Himself instead of you keeping them (2 Corinthians 5:21).

- God accepts Jesus’ death punishment for you so God will not require your punishment for your sins from you anymore. (Atonement )

Imputation means that the Charcter of one person is placed on to another person of a different character.

When you placed the sins on Jesus Christ on the cross, you were imputing onto the Lord Jesus Christ all of your sinful character. (God says to do this Leviticus 16:20-21; Leviticus 4, Atonement

After you visualize, imagine (5), and whole heartedly do this, speaking or confessing your sins to God and with the Lord Jesus Christ – then God does imputation also.

God imputes to you all of the righteousness of His Son Jesus Christ. "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21   +     Hy to new writing.

I want to know in depth details of Substitution and Imputation, the foundational principles and practical aspects for every Christian's walk.

I want to know Why and How God does Substitution and Imputation.

I want to see a Verbal~Visual of the concepts of Substitution and Imputation.

4- John 15:13-15, James 2:23

5-    Praying in Faith -           For example, As you are praying, speak out loud to God Who does hear you: "Lord God Almighty, please place all of my sins on the cross of Jesus Christ." Think and realize the specific sins you are giving to Jesus. While you do this, you can move your hands, lifting your arms as if placing your sins up on the cross of Jesus the Lord. With your "sanctified imagination", transfer your sins onto Jesus. "Watch" them leaving you and moving onto Jesus Christ. Let your emotions engage with your physical actions and you mental thoughts. This is "moving" by faith. You are trusting that God's Word is true. You are trusting God with all of your being. Be sure you have repented of the sins you have committed and confessed to God
